I went on a date to Four Cafe in Eagle Rock, a little cafe along Colorado Blvd.  The decor – wood wall, tables, counter, and chairs were made by the co-owner.  They offer a seasonal menu, designed by the other owner, who went to culinary school.  The place was busy, we were lucky to not have a wait and got a table in the back.

I had the grilled chicken sandwich with hummus, grilled zuchinni and goat cheese – an interesting but tasty combination. It was served with greens mixed with balsamic dressing.  The iced jasmine mandarin tea was unsweetened and refreshing.  The prices were reasonable for sandwich and salad, at least in LA.

It’s definitely a nice stop if you’re in the area…
